bushwacker cutout vs. flat flare

Got 35's on mine now, obviously I need to bump stop but there seems to be plenty of room

Flexing with the swaybar connected until bumpstops are extended

Steve,
I know this is an old thread but I was wondering if you could tell me how the flat style flares butt up to the fenders?
Is it enough contact on the side to cover up cracked/peeling paint from the cut and fold process?
