Bored Out TB

Anyone got one of the 62mm TBs? Do they add performance? What about TB spacers? Any thoughts?

I had my spare junkyard TB bored out to 62mm on a lathe at a local machine shop and made my own oversize throttle plate. Throttle response was noticeably better and there was a small gain in performance. Gas mileage also improved slightly. Definitely worth doing.
The same also applies, to a lesser extent, to the TB spacer. If you get the 62mm TB, bore the spacer out to 62mm as well to get maximum benefit.
