BOR no more?

Big Offroad does it exist still? I was hoping to pick up some leaf springs soon but their website is non-functioning?

well nvm, just found the shutdown thread. Sucky, now I looking at spending a ton on deavers.

if you're not racing check out alcan or national as well. both make great spring packs.

I think it was either Alcan or National that made BOR's springs.

May have been Alcan. Alcan states they don't do shot peening and it's not a benefit to springs. BOR said they did have their peened. Anyone that states that has me concerned.

My original BOR springs were Alcan. I hated them with a passion. Seems like they started using different springs later on though.

Running Deavers now and man....I don't think I would own anything else.

4" versions? I really like deavers design wise, just the 700 bucks hurts..

Troy, aka yellaheap was the last owner of BOR. PM him and maybe he can give you some info. I have run a set of BOR's for probably 8 years and can't say enough good about them.

BOR died January 31st 2012.

They were always made by Alcan. Sept. 2011 Alcan fell under new (and very incompetent) ownership. They're new rediculously high tier based pricing based on buy-in and annual sales drove me out of the biz. (Deavers would have been cheaper if I had priced BORs to make any profit....)
