bolt size for double Cardan joint?

I picked up a front drive shaft from a 95 gr Cherokee to use as my rear drive shaft. However I don't have the bolts to bolt it to the transfer case. Does anyone know what size they are?

You could take the driveshaft into the hardware store with you.

5/16 x 24. 1" or 1.25" long depending what yoke you have.

If they are too long they will thread all the way through and damage things. Best to measure what you have.

The factory ones might have been grade 5, but i would get grade 8 for sure.
