Hey ... I thought it might be a good idea to list all of the sources we know of for parts. Here is what I know:
JEEP SPECIFIC PARTS SOURCES:
http://allchryslerparts.com/ Good source for dealership parts at decent prices
http://www.discountjeepparts.com/catalog/index.php Discount jeep parts
http://www.just4jeep.com/ Good source for rebuild kits, etc.
http://www.quadratec.com/ Good source for OEM and aftermarket parts.
http://www.rigidsteel.com/ Various jeep parts
GENERAL PARTS WEBSITES:
http://planetautoparts.com/ Almost always the cheapest. Plus free shipping on all orders over $50.00 (no handling charge). Only problem, their site doesn't allow you to look up your part for your vehicle. You can only search by part number. Use another site to find the part number.
http://www.partsamerica.com/ website for various auto parts stores, including Kragen, Checkers, Schuck's, Murray's, Advance. This site is EXCELLENT for finding and viewing parts. Get the part number and buy from another site. Free shipping to your local store
http://autozone.com/home.htm Generic parts site
http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/
http://www.jcwhitney.com/ AutoParts catalogue moved to the web. It's been a long time since I purchased there, but they used to have some low-quality stuff. They seem to be better now.
http://www.partstrain.com/ "Hard to find parts and accessories"
http://www.rockauto.com/ Excellent service, great prices, good search capabilities on the website. Unfortunately, they also add shipping costs, so shop carefully.
http://napaonline.com/ Website for your local NAPA store
http://www.1aauto.com/ They post a 1-800 number
SPECIALTY STORES:
http://rebuilt-auto-engines.com/ They do an excellent job of rebuilding motors. Got my 4.0 HO from them, and it's doing great. They were recommended to me by 2 different local mechanics who have installed many of their motors with no problems.
http://www.partsexpress.com/ Good source for electrical/audio stuff
http://www.aircoparts.com/ Air conditioning parts
http://www.clutchcityonline.com/ Offer OEM-quality and performance clutch stuff. Got my clutch kit from them ... lowest price, high quality, excellent service. Toll-free number
http://www.perfectfit.com/ Upholstery supplies
http://radiatorbarn.com/ High quality all-metal radiators & condensers, great prices. I bought an all-metal 3-row rad for $152.00 shipped. When it arrived I was happy to find out it was a CSF. Toll-free number
http://summitracing.com/ Performance parts. Good service. Got my redline stuff from them. Toll-free number.
http://www.jegs.com Performance parts
http://tunertoys.zoovy.com/ Tuner Toys. I bought a new set of injectors from them ... excellent quality, low price, good service.
http://www.espo.com/ Springs and suspension parts.
Anybody know any more?
