Best Size Tires for 16" Moabs?

Just picked up a set for cheap.. what do you guys suggest? I'm stock height and 2wd. Prolly just stick w/the stock size 225/70-16??

A 245/70R16 will fit with no lift. It works out to 29.5".

I have 16" Icon Wheels with 245/70R16 Firestone Winterforce snow tires. They are 16"x7" instead of the 16"x8" the Moabs are. I will look for a pic. A 225 width tire might look goofy on an 8" wide wheel anyway.

I'd stick with stock tire size.
I ran 235s, 30s & 31s on stock gears.
I have never been happier with my jeep now that I am back on 235s. 30s were not that bad, but up steep hills / trying to pass things on the highway / trying to stop quickly, 235s are better.

He is on 16" wheels, so 235s are not an option. 235's are approx 29.2-5 tire typically depending on the tire. The 245 is slightly wider and approx same height.

Good choice... I think the 245s were a bit too large for your purposes.
