Actually, I considered going the ultra cheap route and using a Pacesetter (letting the low cost offset any quality issues and just dealing with whatever pops up...), but I don't recall seeing any for the HO motors anyways.

Up to 92 the HO has a 4 bolt flange on the downpipe (same as 87 - 90) and 93 up has a round pipe - no flange.

Do you mean the flange is where the downpipe meets the converter, or is it where the header meets the downpipe? Either way, it sounds like the issue can be dealt with very easily by any competent muffler shop, correct?
