Auxillary gauge choices...

Ok, I'm convinced.

So where do I get the gauge pod for a 97+ and a set of gauges that match the factory look?

I've been researching the XJ build all morning - some kind soul spoon feed me the above? LOL

Put red bulbs in all my guages and tied them into the dash lights, so they can be dimmed down.
Speaking of this - has anyone figured out how to change the LEDs in the window lift switches? I haven't looked at it yet - is it a removable part or do you need to replace the whole switch with a red one?

yeah, the vac gauge is almost more useful (sometimes) than the tach...

vac gauge install-

pretty easy

it comes with most of the fittings and sensor tube, i believe
(i used the autometer ultralite series)

simply locate where your vac lines run under the hood
on my 96 4.0 i installed a "T" compression fitting on the vac line that runs between the back of the valve cover and the intake manifold.

if you have never used compression fittings before--just read the instructions--its pretty simple

let me know if u have any questions
