airsoft or powder?

My good friend just got some 38's for his rig, the tire shop he bought them from could not balance them. They recommended some powder solution (silica?) I've never heard of this,will airsoft bb's help him? how much for a 38?

the pellets will help but I would suggest atleast 15 ounces per tires. I run 37's and I have 15 ounces of pellets and I can cruise at 70 no problem.

I just recently purchased a set of 33" retreads from tread right and used 4.5oz of balancing powder in each of them. They use it in tri-axle and mixed tires and it worked great. Drove 478 miles at 70mph with them yesterday and no problems.

1 tube of 1000 .2g should be just over 7 ounces.
