Advice on contact pattern

A compare contrast photo. Has some gear whine and pinion pre-load is tight, although I'm going to run it 500mi. and re-do it. It is the 8.25" rear with 4 56: gear set, wanted to show.:)

Drive side is way too high, once you punch it, the contact patch is gonna be half off the teeth.
Adjust pinion depth

Not
Run.

My complements to you as well. Two air actuated lockers is impressive. DIY work isn't new to me as I've owned it since 2003. The gear set is new. It is exactly the same 4 56: as was previously installed, minus a True Trac carrier. The pinion depth remains the same and without a shim. The only reason for a lack of depth toward the front would be rear bearing cup not fully seated in the diffs housing bore.
Possibly moving RGS more toward the NRGS would improve the contact pattern.
