I am going to be fixing the AC on my MJ soon, Pensacola summers combined with the nomex flight suit I wear to work are getting a tad warm.
So the question is: Are the AC brackets similar between engines? I was going to grab the bracket for a r134a system (the whole system in fact) from a junkyard if it would bolt to my MJ 4cyl. I will be getting a new expansion valve, and a new reciever/dryer, flushing my condensor, and depending on the price possibly the AC compressor from the Junkyard. The MJ uses a different style of compressor mounting than my 1991 and the 97+ ones I have seen.
I have seen no 4cyl xj's with r-134, but I know the blocks are very similar and it looks like I could swap brackets between my stroker and the MJ easy enough. can anyone confirm this?
