I do agree that prison is not rehabilitation. We don't really do that here though since actually having rehabilitation facilities of any kind would first require an admission of a problem (be it drug, alcohol, mental health, education, what have you).

Sad indeed.

I'm in 110% agreement with ya Ira.

I know we are supposed to be a civilized nation, but this really makes ya wonder about how we deal with criminals. Shouldn't the punishment fit the crime?
