88 XJ 2dr 5spd 4.0, 32s & 91 XR600...trade/sell

I am moving to VA in December and want to start off fresh.

I have an 88 cherokee 5 speed, two door, 4x4, on 32s. The jeep is a jalopy (duh) and is put together from various parts out of the garage so I will not begin to list the make of each part. She is not a beauty queen, no headliner, cargo area is plywood, no rear seat, cracked windsheild, a bit of surface rust, tires all match but are worn uneven (used tires). She runs good, no tranny or engine issues, no leaks.

I also have a street legal 91 XR600 that is well used as well. She also runs great, has new front/rear fender, wired for turn signals (not installed). Acerbis 5.8 gallon tank, new seat cover. Also comes with aluminum rack for class III hitch (seen in XJ pic).

I'm looking for $1500 for the XJ and $1500 or the XR, $2500 for both or trade for a cross country roadtripable car with decent gas mileage.

This will pass smog, correct?

Its like saying you will pass an STD test after banging a hooker with a condom. Yea, its protected with a newer cat (had a "test pipe" until last smog a couple years ago) and it always passes first time. But the good news is that smog issues are more like chlamydia and is very treatable.

My jeep has humped many other jeeps that have been around the block therefore I cannot guarantee SMOG (CA law might say otherwise though).

i think its more like asking a chick if she has an std beforehand, her telling you no, and then finding out later she did...

Just to be clear, I never said that she did have an STD (smog) just that she has been around the block a few times since she was last tested.

Its more like asking a 23 year old dirty bar whore if she has an STD and she says "what the hell, I have been around the block a few times, got tested a couple years ago but who knows what happened when I passed out last week...you are welcome to check my puss for open sores though."

Damnit Jon....I thought I XXXXing asked you to stop talking about this. You told me all the chicks in Reno were clean top notch b*tch*s.

On a more serious note. I thought the Jeep looked familiar. I think I've seen your Jeep before on Del Monte.

I call BS! :peace:

I didn't say there was oil in her...but seriously I can take a picture of the driveway I park in every day and there is nothing. Non of the jeeps I have ever leaked though, maybe I'm just lucky.

All that wiring in your Jeep looks like Tayman has been in it. Haha. Do you know him?

Dont know a tayman. There is a solar panel battery maintainer on the dash (I work on boats and am gone for month at a time), the aux cable is standard, there is a Sirius radio next to the parking brake which needs power/antennae, then the CB wiring.

He is another user on here. Lived in PG for a year or two. Has wires running everywhere in his vehicle.

I haven't been active in the wheeling community for a while and I havent meet any NAXJA people since I moved to monterey.

I have always wanted to do a cross country road trip in a ****ty convertible geo metro. Anyone have one to trade?

Just smogged, payed registration and put a fresh coat of Ace rust stop satin black on her.
