8.8" swap underway - shock mount question

i just used angle iron welded to the tubes and welded a grade 8 bolt to the angle iron. it works great and is cheep
 
It looks like your going to be really tight on shock travel.You needed to move the mounts out a lot more!
 
For those looking at options....
I hacked off the shock mounts off of my old D35. Just a simple hack job and they work great.

you really wont need that much shock travel in the rear of a leaf sprung rig.

No I wasnt able to do that yet, Im going to have it done soon. We ran out had to time and a lot of things had to be skipped so that I was able to drive back to school.
 
my rear travel is garbage i can feel the shocks bottoming out when im offroad
Thats because you didnt measure as you were told to do.
