8.25 gear pattern advice

Took the carrier out to replace some springs in the locker.

Backlash at .007 and I originally did not set up these gears. Although they have about 500 miles on them.

Best pics I could get tonight. And yes I know I need to get the yellow marking paint. This Shit sucks but all they had

It's hard for me to tell with the blue. My first instinct is pinion a tad deep but if they are running good with no noise or anything I wouldn't worry about it.

I have plenty of gm yellow marking compound you can use. Work in santa clara if you want it.

I'm still surprised you had to pull the carrier. My aussie went in with no gear disassembly.

Whats the gearing? On my 8.25 the locker was fine on stock 3.55 gears. When I did 4.56 gears I had to shave a tooth down a bit to make sure the cross shaft could come out.

It's 4.88 I had to fix the stripped retaining bolt pin and new springs in the powertrax. Gears seem fine. I'm running with that pattern shown
