I know they take different SYE kits but was thinking that it nay be due to the housing not using a cable for the speedo.
I pulled my drive shaft last night and found out whoever did the hack & tap didn't get anywhere close to center for the bolthole. A club member gave me a 95 output shaft. Just hate to pull it all apart to find out it wont work.

'91+ ALL use a VSS instead of a cable, but '96+ is where they changed the design of the output shaft and yoke on the driveline, THAT'S why they're different.
