I am posting here first to see if anyone in the group would be interested. I have my 1999 XJ for sale, I bought it in 2007 with 133K miles on it. It has been my DD and now has 310K on it. It has never leaked oil and does not smoke but it does loose about a QT every 3K miles now (The oil spots on the concreate in the photos are from the 2001 XJ). I will get it all cleaned up and looking nicer if there is any interest.

In the photos the milage shows 240562 but I replaced the idiot lights that came in it with the gauges and the new one had 70000 miles less showing then the original one. So it actually has a little over 310K on it.

It is honestly a great Jeep, everything works, good brakes, the drivetrain is tight, it does have one tire that will not pass inspection that I plan to change before I sell it. The only reason I went looking for a different XJ is I want to get a pop-up camper and the 4cyl would have a hard time with that extra weight.

I think the 99's are really the best year for the XJ's :)

I want it too! I had 2 4 cyl 5 spd TJ's but all my 4 bngr XJ's were 2wd...this would be so much fun on 31's as a DD and light duty trail rig!

Anyone got $2K I can borrow? And some fuel money so I can go get it? Doesn't hurt to ask!

I will be in your area mid Sept, if you find the cash and a notary, I will deliver it :)
