brief update:
I've gotten all the machine shop work done, and have assembled the engine. The cylinders had to be bored .040 over because of some piston slap, but the rest is still stock. Bought a master kit from ebay, and have got her all together. I'm waiting for $$ to buy a new exhaust header, turns out the original was in fact cracked. That and new clutch components and it'll be ready to stab her in. Pics:
