My XJ is up for sale again. I pulled it a few months ago thinking that since no-one seemed interested, that I'd use it.
I did, and had a blast, but it broke (front ring gear) and I don't feel like fixing it. I pulled the ring gear and drove it home, so it still moves just fine.
Suspension:
-4.5" Rubicon Express Springs and Leafs
-Clayton's Long Arm Kit
-32" Wrangler MT/R's
-JKS Sway Bar Disconnects
-ZJ Tie Rod
-Rubicon Express HD Track Bar and Drop Bracket (recently replaced the bushing)
Drivetrain:
-Stock LP D30 front 4.56 gears w/ lunchbox locker
** Ring Gear is stripped and has been removed so unit moves.
-Stock Chrysler Rear w/ 4.56 gears
-Tom Woods rear drive shaft
-around 94,000 miles.
-Electric Fans (Stock on left, Aftermarket on RT. Fan on RT is manual. Also fan in vent to
control heat soak.
-ZJ Rear brakes
Armor:
-Detours Rock Sliders/Frame Stiffeners
-Stock steel gas tank skid (Dented)
-JCR Front Winch bumper w/ Warn Winch
-Rear homemade bumper w/ 2" hitch receiver
Tires and wheels:
Wheels unknown brand. 10” They have been well loved by rocks and though they don’t
look awful, they are scrapped up
Tires BFG AT 33X12.50X15 less than 4K on them. A couple of minor trail blemishes
Cosmetics:
Outside isn't too bad for a trail rig. Door frames on driver side have been banged abit
Interior is in pretty decent shape. Has nice mud mats to keep carpet "Clean"
33" Spare fitted inside in stockish location on custom bracket
Farm jack inside on custom brackets
Previous owner decided that it looked better if you could take the doors off, so the hinges are history and front doors close a bit rough.
The bottom of the doors are starting to rust
I replaced the old TJ Flares with Bushwacker Cut-outs a while back
Washer bottle leaks because I accidentally drilled into it. I have another one
If you want a decent running and driving lifted XJ, and don't mind doing some axle work, this would fit the bill
The existing parts alone if you bought them used and install them yourself would easily top what I am asking for the rig
You can drive it home, but be aware that the font axle seals leak
I can send photos if you are interested.
$2,000.
