    Lift (another post)

I think you hit the nail on the head, i.e., reading up about this. My guess is that between a good shop manual for your jeep and information here and elsewhere on the Web, you can find the information that you need. Good luck. K.

    Lift (another post)

I would really recommend trying to do this yourself. Reason 1: If you do it yourself, then you will learn a lot about your jeep in the process. This will greatly help if things break on the trail. That is, you won't be the guy on the trail asking others, "I hear this clunk, what do you think...

    Expedition Cherokee

    Expedition Cherokee

Not Cherokee related, but interesting reads nonetheless: http://www.4x4wire.com/mercedes/nnw/intro.htm http://www.turtleexpedition.com/ Also, years back, I read in one of the 4x4 rags about a couple of brothers who set up their Cherokees to transport needed supplies to remote locations in...

Positives and Negatives of lift kit

I think that you are going about this the wrong way. There is no bit of information that will convince skeptical parents that lifting your rig is a good idea. Instead, I recommend a more indirect approach. Take Dad wheeling a few times. If he gets into it, you can be sure that the "a lift...

    $68 Dollar Trail Rails

When I lived in Ohio, we wheeled in Kentucky/Tennessee frequently and there were plenty of rocks down there. More than a few folks tagged rocker panels in the places where we went. As a matter of fact, I still have a dent in my (unprotected) rocker from leaning against a rock at Tellico...

    8.25 locker options

Was the 8.25 an option for '01? I thought '01 (at least) had a D35.
