Those ‘blue boot’ ac delco’s are what I just pulled out.... I’m beginning to wonder if there is a decent d44 balljoint. Mine were new (probably 50 miles and 30 minutes worth of ladee) and they were sloppy AF.
I put the spicers in the same time you did yours so I’m curious to see how both hold up

At that point why not build a whole chassis? Unibody just seems like a less than ideal foundation, but don't get me wrong i like what you've done! Looks great!

Plenty of guys with heavier rigs, and hybrid cages do just fine.
Seen several flops and a few light rolls. If it's built fight all you should need after a light flop/roll is a header panel, maybe a fender, possible glass (?) and a fresh pair of underwear....
