this is a pretty backwoods junkyard and the price is great at only $50 it looks brand new, and has not been repainted. He has no paperwork on what it came out of. The tag only says the 3.5 which is the gear ratio. Thanks
I have no clue what year it is? It is already out of vehicle at a junkyard and the owner gave me a good price but want to be stuborn about pulling the cover off. For what it worth the tag says 3.5 and it has been indoors since he has had it gear oil looks good and new brakes on it.
you can use a pump, or you can take the center console out, the shifter plate for the floor and the shifter itself out and pour it down the top till it comes out of the fill hole.
Mine only has three speeds, but yes from what I understand the 3 or 4 small coils you see on the back of the resistor all tie in together somehow to produce the highest speed.
Does anyone know of an aftermarket transmission mount for the ax-15? I have a 92 xj w/ 8" lift, 33" tires and continue to break transmission mounts. Thanks
I have Rusty's flares they seem to be pretty strong. I cracked the left rear flare on a rock, used JB weld to hold together. Other than that no complaints.
I just finished putting rear discs on my 1992 Cherokee w/ a 1996 Chrysler 8.25 rearend from a 1995 Grand w/ dana 35. All I had to do was open up the backing plate and the caliper bracket so it would slide onto my axle. I do not have abs and have had no problems.
