Does anyone know if the CV axle shafts from a 94ish ZJ can be direct swapped to an 89 XJ?

I was curious if anyone knows why front axles bend. I just find it interesting since they are in a tube and have joints at the end instead of flanges. Just curious. I can understand how they could twist torsionaly.

I just came across a near free 98ZJ 4x4 I have an 89 XJ AW4 242 D30/D35, 3.5inch lift SYE. Keeping it Would it be to my advantage to swap parts off of the ZJ, I know the rear axle wouldn't fit without modifying. Or should I leave the ZJ alone? And as they sit both run fine.

Looking for the switch on the top of the prop valve. Anyone have any part numbers or something that fits. It seems to be a unicorn on the parts world. Thanks. 89 XJ nob abs
