ugh, we live and learn, right? spent a day chasing a phantom yesterday. got up this morning, pulled the solenoid remote wire from the starter relay, turned the key and voila! obviously I had no starter but, I kept all of my power. short in the new starter

yeah i checked fuses. the drivers side master switch is the brain. if it doesn't have power, nothing associated with it will either

cannot operate windows, locks, or mirrors. replaced master switch, still nothing, have not put a meter on it yet though i am sure it will show no power. anyone have a wiring diagram that'll help? or any common breaking points other than the rubber bootie between door and pillar? tight on time...

i seriously watch the forums without thinking about it. and will continue to, but if the ride from that 3"budget build is really that nice, that's what i'll do. making a few calls for some decent used tires to run around town on for the time being. shouldn't take too long to get lift together...

shoot man, wish i could. i still owe 5k on it tho. it's a '00 impreza outback sport (OBS) 5sp. great car. extremely fun to drive. i seriously swapped the struts for '04 forester XT struts. yielded about 4" of lift. looks pretty awesome, but miss the ole XJs too much.
