    (VA) 4.56s for Chrysler 8.25 NIB $220

Haha I'd love to, but I'm short a couple essential components on the Outback. Needs a motor, fender, bumpers, and a window! Ive got it sitting in the lot on Oceana. There's gotta be another squid as dumb as me looking for a project over there :) For all viewers: $175 picked up! I just want...

    (VA) 4.56s for Chrysler 8.25 NIB $220

For sale is a 4.56 Ring & Pinion with rebuild kit. It's all new in the box. The boxes were opened to inspect the gears, and to take pictures. The kit is made by Motive Gear. I would prefer a local sale in the Norfolk, VA area. If you are interested in shipping let me know, but these aren't cheap...

    Hampton Roads M&G

I have to get inspected when I get back... you're scaring me. I don't think they'll look kindly on my lack of an e-brake cable, and non-functioning front o2 sensor. Sorry I've been a ghost lately. Was at a school, then sea trials... gonna try to make another meet before the big show in March...

    Stop the SOPA

I really hope this goes away completely. If I wanted to live in China, I'd move there. I'm reminded of Arthur Miller's The Crucible when I think of the future of the internet under SOPA.

Pulling leaf out of leaf pack?

I would switch to the 1.5" lift shackle first and see where you're at. Taking leaves out will only shorten the life of your springs.

Running different tires front and rear

Jeeptec & ehall posted good info on this. To piggy back on this, here is a little "why" about the tire thing: The different weight, and actual size, of each tire varries by manufacturer. As an example, my neighbors YJ is running 39.5 rears and 38 fronts because the two tires measure out to the...

Front suspension replacement: Order of operations?

An important note about spring compressors: Most coil compressors are intended for a McPherson strut. Using these style clamps on a regular coil spring can create a pretty scary shop mishap. The compressors will move away from resistance since they aren't attached to each other, and meet up on...

    Bar Pin Eliminators

I'm running the rusty's one front and rear. No complaints. To take it a step further you can purchase their weld on shock mounts for the axle to eliminate that as a low point. Not essential, but its something to consider. Make sure to remeasure for shocks when you add these so you never fully...

    Roof mounted light rack opinion

if you pursue this, and are looking for NIB, check eBay over a dealer. There are some decent knockoffs, but MAKE SURE YOU GET A 360 VIEW! Some have no back plastic to them. I looked pretty extensively at this option, and there are good quality copies out there for a good price. Man I wish...

    Roof mounted light rack opinion

I've seen Liberty Renegade light bars mounted on the roof. Looks pretty good. I'm not so sure about function though. The glare roof lights can cause on the hood can be annoying. Here's a comanche with the liberty bar:
