Just an idea: If you don't need a head unit, hook up an inexpensive amp and run your phone or ipod direct. I did it to my jeep and boat. I use Pandora, i heart radio, and run playlists. It works no problem.

Reality is that it really only makes a difference if you plan to keep coils up front. The extra space is nice. If you run air shocks, struts, or coilovers, its not quite as important.
