    mounting 6x9's in tailgate???

Like it or not, Trailready is right. Sitting from the drivers seat. Now IMHO, the damn struts on the gate can NOT handle the added weight of a RF 6x9. Or at least none I have ever seen can. I sound deadened my doors and added a new lower door panel from 3/4 MDF, Then Glassed the whole door...

When you jump a Jeep Cherokee

I jumped mine out at Praire city a few times. Only about a 18 inches or so, no damage what so ever, and I still drive it every day back and forth to work. This 90 XJ is the best $250 toy I have every bought.

3 link rear MJ coming soon

I would suggest getting a fuel cell and remove the gas tank or move the tank (or Cell) to behind the cab then making a four link. It would be a lot of work, but in the long run I think it would be worth it. Just my .02

    100so ft 45mil & 60 sq ft 75 mil R-Blox installed.....PICTS!!!

Yes it make it quieter, and cooler. As for making a Jeep some thing it is not. Your kidding right! Every single person who modifies their vehicle in any way is doing that! Do you think that a Dana44 and a GM corp 14bolt are supposed to be on an XJ? Did they come with them from the factory? Is...

    100so ft 45mil & 60 sq ft 75 mil R-Blox installed.....PICTS!!!

I did this with peal and seal from lowes, to my roof, the rear cargo area, and the Doors (makes the speakers 100 times better). I plan to do the whole interior just because it is relatively inexpensive and it lowers the road noise from tires and wind. Plus my interior is way cooler since I...

    Hood Vents Almost Installed..

Actually, I droped My Whole Jeep into a 4 foot deep mud hole and hydrolocked the motor, after a bit of cleaning and not buying any new parts it still runs great. I drive it back and forth to work every day. I also have hosed out the motor many many many times. This is not an arguement issue, I...

    Hood Vents Almost Installed..

Why is there always one person who asks about water getting in hood vents? Do they realize what happens when you drive in the rain or through a puddle of water. Water does splash all the way up to the top of your engine. Nice job on the your vents, very clean.

Got my hands on the new TnT Ylink LA's

You got instruction? Lucky you. It was very easy to install though. I have not mounted the arms yet. Just the CM. I bent my stock one really bad so I had to jump a head of schedule. I have yet to drill the holes for the side mounts. I am just running the bottom 6 bolts. Since it is not holding...

63 in leafs in the Rear

-- Jeff98 -Great shots. that is very close to what I am think is the best way to do it. Thanks XJ ranger - I forgot to check and they are at home I think they are 2.5. 63 in leafs in the Rear

thanks Brett, I have searched the Jeep section of Pbb a lot on this. didn't find much having to do with XJs. On a framed vehicle it is not much of an issue for me because there are more solid mouting places than on an xj. I think I may end up Just tearing the xj apart and placing the springs...

63 in leafs in the Rear

I have heard of a lot of guys using them in the front but can't find much of anything for the rear. I have been searching for a few days now and all the post talk about the front. So here are my choices. My brother owns a business that bags pickups and cars, well I scored a set of 2004 chevy 1/2...

    IAC work?

Maybe I am missunderstanding you but I dont see any kind of motor, accept the IAC itself (I think). If the TPS is not operating correctly i.e. making the ECU think the throttle is closed wouldn't it keep the IAC open?

    IAC work?

Thanks guys, It is a 1990 Renix system. It actually idles great with the IAC all the way closed, except when I first start it in the morning, which it actually runs and idles great after a few seconds after I start it. My first guess was a vacuum leak somewhere else and the IAC being open...

    IAC work?

I hydrolocked my XJ last weekend. cleaned out everything since. and will be changing out the oil again here in a few days. the only thing left that is driving me nuts is: it is idling high 2000rpm. If I let the IAC close and then unplug it when the engine is off, I can start it up and it runs...

    Dana 44 Tech

Crash Thanks, Great information. I have a question though. I am in the middle of building a Waggy 44 and have all the brackets made just not welded on, I am hesitant to weld them on before taking the measurements off of my stock D30. I have searched for drawings or some thing that would give me...
