    Free - Pre 92 2wd Front Knuckles / Hubs

Had a 2wd axle tube I took apart to use as a mock up axle for my WJ knuckle swap. It has the pre-92 spindle design, with rebuildable bearings and one piece rotor/hub. Has the rotor, brake calipers, caliper brackets, knuckle, basically just took the entire thing off the ball joints. Free if...

    WTB Front End Parts

I guess they changed it 98-00 but it's worth it to come take a look. Even if it's off a bit it's definitely better than getting something like red or white. I'll PM you for details.

    WTB Front End Parts

Moss should be the darker green, emerald was the more tealish green. I'll grab the paint code off the door when I go outside. It's "PJN Moss Green Pearl Coat" Def interested in the fenders and header then. The hood really only has a small corner mark, so its not necessary.

99 XJ POS For Sale - Central NJ

My sisters XJ has some motor issues that I'm not even going to dig into. Head or cracked block, something serious enough the motor is shot for good. Oil/Coolant mixed. Loud bang. Anyway, going to scrap this thing soon. Clean title, 99 4.0 AW4 231 with 125k ish miles. Body is rusted apart...

Best O2 sensor brands for 1997 4.0 XJ

I bought a new Bosch and it caused me to have a stutter/stall when pulling out of parking lots etc. Installed NTK and no problems at all. I only use NTK now.

    Defroster Issue

Look up Cherokee "blend door" or "vent diverter: issues. The plastic tabs on the doors snap off and get stuck, or slam closed when you turn the heater on full speed. Since you said it blows hot from the vents, I'd say its not your hot/cold door but the door that diverts air to the defroster. If...

    Water flooded transmissions

It's not so much that it dissolves the glue but the friction lining absorbs the water, which makes them expand and separate from the metal bands. The glue is not made to hold them in this manner. Also, it would be very naive to think there is no such thing as a water soluble glue. Compounds are...

    Water flooded transmissions

I wouldn't bother. The water will dissolve the band glue, they'll crumble apart, and any rust or corrosion will clog the minuscule passages in the valve body. There's a reason the inside of a trans looks so immaculately clean even after 300k miles - never any water to cause damage. Edit- From...

Fuel injector upgrade for the 4.0, and how to?

If this is the first time you're taking the injectors out, I highly recommend the extra work of taking the intake manifold off to do the swap. It's more work, yes. Some extra bolts, and a new gasket for the intake/exhaust manifold. However while you may be able to get the loose stuff around the...

    WTB: 2WD Front Axle Tube

What are the odds I post this today and I found one in NJ down the street from my brother's house.

    WTB: 2WD Front Axle Tube

Anyone have a 2wd front tube around they want to get rid of? Doesn't need to have knuckles or anything else. Want to mock up WJ knuckle swap in my garage over the winter and figured that would be the easiest way. Boston Area or Central NJ, or along the road between the two.
