I'd like to add another inch to my 3" lift right now. My setup right now is 3" coil springs in front, 3" AAL in sagging rear, hydro 8000 shocks all around.
Plans:
-Rough Country adjustable track bar (already purchased)
-Rough Country steering stabilizer (already purchased)
-1" transfer case drop...
I'd like to pick up a set or two of the Baja lights from Walmart and would like to wire them into my brights, so when my brights are on, the fogs are on. I am a wiring noob, and was wondering how I'd go about doing this? Please no one sentence answers, I really don't know how to set this up...
I've tried plugging a plug wire back into the distributor with the engine running  It got me about 4 times, didn't hurt but was very surprising.
Never point a weapon at something you're not willing to destroy. Your brother made a few stupid mistakes by first pointing it at himself, and second by pulling the trigger. May sound harsh but it's true, it is lucky he's fine.
Just use common sense when handling it and you will have a very fun...
I'm looking for a hitch for my XJ. I think I'll either be going with a Curt or a U-Haul, but I'm leaning towards the Curt.
If I do go witht he Curt, which model should I go with?
There is this round tube shown here:

I was wondering if instead of purchasing longer brake lines in the front after my 4" lift, if I could just disconnect the line from the bracket on the inside of the wheel well? It seems as if that would be enough extra length, and I can't see any ill effects occuring because of it.
Has anyone...
I'm going to be doing a transfer case drop soon here just by stacking an inch of washers on the bolts that hold the transfer case up.
I was wondering if someone could give me the specs on the stock bolt size, or if possibly the specs on 1" longer bolts to go in their place.
Thanks!
Just for future reference, I did it my way in post #1 and it tooks us 2 hours for the front drivers side. This was with dicking around the whole time, and testing out the spring compressor in about 15 different positions. I will time how long it takes us tomorrow, but it should take us under an...
Are the coils attached to anything at the top? I know they have a little metal piece over them at the bottom. Is there anything stopping me from just unbolting the bottom piece, throwing on a spring compressor, compressing the spring and just pulling it right out, and then compressing the new...
Well I have some 3" Rough Country lift coils on the way along with new shocks and a steering stabilizer. I've read that you need to disconnect a bunch of the front suspension compnents to get the coils in.
I was wondering instead of disconnecting anything, could I just jack up the front, put...
