When I ran my 4.56s I just drove around in 2wd and they are wore in fine. I don't think you need to break them in on 4wd... I could be wrong though

Just an update... Runs cool now... the Map adjuster works great now. I did a reset(disconnected the battery) ran rough initially but after the second start and a short run, she runs beautifully and much cooler! Thanks everyone for all your help especially Dr Dyno!

Hmmm... my bad .. on flipping the axle.. D300.. now that will be a problem getting one fo those in this part of the world. What 4wds did they come from? What would they run? The easiest solution is to keep my XJ and run the Volvo C304...forgot to mention that the axles are still on the truck ;-)
