sorry, it's a 95, so the soundbar is separate. i didn't see a way to remove the light without breaking it, that was the part that was holding me up. i hate interior work...

Yeah, so the connector fixed it, i cut the wires off and jumped them around the connector (couldn't even pull it apart, it was rusted together) and the lights work again! thanks for all the help, i didn't even know that thing was down there, i would have been ripping the dash apart forever...

i bought one on ebay, didn't look exactly like that one, for $99 and it's still fine a year later, bolted up correctly.

thanks for all the help, i pulled the airbox and the connector looks like crap, one of the wires (for the side marker) broke off when i tried to disconnect it. unfortunately it just started raining, so i didn't get a chance to short around the headlight wires and see if it works. i'll update...

yeah, i actually checked, the bulbs are ok and there is no voltage at the connectors when the lows are turned on. if you have the FSM for a 95 i would appreciated it if you could look at the diagrams for me, (or scan them or something if possible) the ones in the haynes manual are not very...

mine did the same, not in the wind but just from everyday use (?). anyway, a body shop re welded it for 50 bucks, considering you (like myself) don't know how to weld, getting someone to do it will probably be easier, and it's not that expensive.

this seems like a dumb question, but do you have to wait a while for RTV to dry on a thermostat housing? the package says "fully cures in 24 hours" and that's it, but i can't imagine you have to wait that long to refill the coolant and drive it... i'm using permatex water pump and thermostat...
