    Family Vehicle - opinions needed:)

The 2006 is where aesthetics and performance meet. It's better designed than the older ones, leading to more room, and it has better performance than the newest gen. Anything 2006-2008 works, but performance-wise, the 2006 tend to hold up better. The 2003-2005s are slightly modeled after the...

    Family Vehicle - opinions needed:)

I'd go with the Pilot. Pilots are really good, and one of the most recommended for multiple chil'ren. Plus, you can get a 2006 (best year for them) or 2007 for less than what you owe on the 4Runner. And, well, I have a strong preference for Hondas as DD (98 CR-V at 262000, nothing more than...

    Failed Emissions

It's an '87 (sorry) It runs at 210, as long as I'm moving. When I idle, it climbs to about 220, but I believe that's fine (?). And it is running rich- you can def smell it! Just ran a fuel pressure test, and it's sitting right between 29 to 34, so that checks fine. We can't check the mileage...

    Failed Emissions

Hey guys. So, I'm new at this whole working on cars thing (other than oil, fluid, and spark plugs), which is one reason I'm really glad I have my XJ :laugh3: But I'm having issues getting it to pass MARTA to tag it. The first time, the radiator reservoir cap busted, leaving me with an...

Weekend is over...what did you get done?

Took XJ to MARTA, had radiator cap bust while in the stall. XJ starts pouring smoke. Heating to 280*. :flamemad: Drove 2 miles to be able to stop. Let her cool down. Drove to AutoZone, replaced cap and coolant. Drove home. 5 times she died on me. Now? At least it's a nice day out!

    Best Tire?

That looks like our balled out road tires! 3 feet of water and street tires that need replaced do NOT make a good combo!

Hooray for the new fender! And the seat belt clicky thingy... Next up, interior!

    Best Tire?

We're moving to Orlando, but I plan on making trips back home b/w Gainesville and St Auggie with it to take it to HogWaller. I'm from the redneck part of Florida. And it will def be hauled (MUCH cheaper than gas!).

    Best Tire?

It's going to be both until we get another vehicle. But currently, it's parked with no interior! If we get MT's, it'll be an emergency road vehicle with the other car as the DD though

    Best Tire?

I've got quite the dilemma on my hands. We currently live in Tennessee, but will be moving to Florida this summer. Up here, it's mostly crawling over shit. Down there, we play in the mud :) . Should we go ahead and spend the money to get mud tires, or get some used all-terrains? I'm thinking I...

Weekend is over...what did you get done?

Dried out the Jeep. The bf removed all the interior (including the god-awful smelling carpet!), so just left the windows down on it. Next up: cleaning, sanding, and Rhino-lining! Yay fun! :)

For everyone that gave me crap for not wanting to drive my jeep on icy roads...

Come on, if a girl does it, I'm pretty sure you can! That's what having a Jeep is all about!
