    NM think we fixed it..

Temp gauge jumping around on Chevy Venture

I'm paranoid it's going to be the head gasket but I'm not having an issue with missing coolant. Anyway, it's a 99 Venture. The temp gauge will jump around a lot. It's never gone above half way but it will go up and instantly drop down etc. It seems to do it more while idling. I did take a 2...

    90 XJ AC freon sensor?

Nevermind.. found it.. Low Pressure Cut Off Switch

    90 XJ AC freon sensor?

I'm getting my AC converted over and the low freon sensor isn't working (per the mechanic). He said I need to get a new one before he fills it but I can't find this listed anywhere on autozone or advance auto. It's a little two prong sensor (kinda looks like a knock sensor) and if you unplug...

    Temp guage false readings..

It's a B&M Blackout Water Temp Guage part # 80331. It is a single wire from the sending unit and came with the sending unit that I'm using. It's been discontinued (picked it up for a good deal because of this). I called B&M and was basically told too bad so sad as they don't offer support for...

    Temp guage false readings..

No I have not. It is a B&M black out gauge which needs to turn on and off with the ignition. I guess I could throw a toggle switch in if worse came to worse.

    Temp guage false readings..

Since my cherokee only has the idiot lights I installed an electric temp gauge. The problem is I get false readings no matter how it is hooked up. I have the sending unit placed in the back of the head where the factory one was installed (90 xj). I have tried my grounds in three different...

90 renix, tranny cooler on manual transmission?

It's the AC condenser so it must be the radiator that leaks.

90 renix, tranny cooler on manual transmission?

It's definitely coolant that is leaking, only happens when running the cherokee for a while. I'll trace it back once it stops raining.

90 renix, tranny cooler on manual transmission?

Did the manuals come with a tranny cooler? I thought only the auto's did. I have a small leak that appears from time to time, not all the time and it's either coming from my radiator or the small radiator sitting in front. Perhaps it's an oil cooler?

    Rear fenders shot

Yea.. I had done this to my old K5 blazer. With stock bumpers it looks kinda ghetto. But it should keep the rust from progressing. I'm sure the rockers are worse than I'm anticipating.

    Rear fenders shot

Anybody have any idea what I can do to these aside from cutting them completely out. I don't mind doing that it just looks kinda odd with only 31" tires. Looking for some kind of a weld in piece or something that will cover the gap if I cut the rust out. The rust does not exceed the top of...

2.5" Mandrel bent tail pipes / Catbacks

We can include a factory hanger but it will not be welded on. The problem is the guy that bends these for us gives us a great deal but he does not do anything with a hanger. I have another supplier who would possibly make one with the hanger but it would more than double in cost and it would...

2.5" Mandrel bent tail pipes / Catbacks

I can't talk prices since I'm not a vendor but both would be significantly less than on the ebay link. My kits are priced fairly cheap. I think I will give the option to just add the type of hanger that the customer prefers, it would only be about $2 extra for the hanger. I'll look into 409ss...

Looking to get a new Cat!

I'm not referring to just Cherokees.. Mainly GM, Honda, etc.. For example, on my old 2002 Trailblazer I swapped the converter with a MagnaFlow OBDII converter, threw a CEL. Ended up having to use a MagnaFlow CARB legal converter to get the light back off. This is a problem we run into all the...

2.5" Mandrel bent tail pipes / Catbacks

I'll look at that. The tail pipe is aluminized to keep the cost down. If there is a demand we can get these in 409 SS but I'd need to ensure it would move. I can include the OE style rod but this would need to be welded. Or we can use the hanger that we include with our truck dual kits, it...

Looking to get a new Cat!

The one you ordered is fine for your Cherokee. The "heavy loaded" converters are typically for use on 98 and later vehicles that generally throw an engine code with a standard OBDII converter.

2.5" Mandrel bent tail pipes / Catbacks

Not gonna try and sell these on the site. Just needed opinions on the hanger. Might be open to being a vendor later on. Send me a PM with the info.

2.5" Mandrel bent tail pipes / Catbacks

I have these in stock now. Let me get your opinion. The tail pipes do not have the front wire hanger welded on and none of my suppliers offer a clamp on style hanger for that application. So technically this hanger would need to be welded on unless I offered a different style hanger which...

Looking to get a new Cat!

Most after market cats are "higher flowing" compared to the OE cat. Most converter companies get their bricks from the same source. I believe there is only one or two companies that offer bricks in the US. MagnaFlow makes a good converter as does Catco. I sell a lot of the Thunderbolt...
