what are drop brackets? why should i not use stock arms?

Hey, Ok, so i have a BDS 3" lift and to level it out i have an inch and 3/4 spacer up front. It looks really nice, however i have stock control arms and i hear this is a bad setup. True or False? and if i do need CA's then what brand is good, yet cheap. Im tight on money guys.

so how do you know where to cut. Thats my issue is i have no idea where to cut. I dont want to cut to high and mess things up. how do you know where to cut?

i dont need to but it looks like crap with the fenders off so i was going to trim and i do eventually want 33's. also bosco01xj, how did you cut yours, did you just cut straight across?

ok, this is a stupid question but how would i check the fluid? is there an easy quick way or what.

dont i have a 231 tho. That was my understanding and yes some of that is very similar. When i put the jeep in cruise control the noise becomes horrid!

Its an 8.25 and no I have not checked the level in the tcase yet.

we did that and it was coming from the rear really bad. It consistantly happens at about 40mph so we replaced my old axle with a junkyard one and it still has the noise while driving. I really dought that i got two bad axles right

im pretty positive its the rear but it sounds sort of in the middle. My jeep is a 2001 cherokee with 96000 miles. I have like a two inch coil spacer up front and like a 2 3/4 shackle in the rear. I bought it like that. i wouldnt do this.

whenever i let off the gas there is a terrible clunking noise from under the car. My tranny mount is ok, the u joints arent bad, i think its a drive line deal but i have completely no idea.
