99 xj 4.0 4x4 The jeep just started to do this today. What would cause a sputter when I hit the gas form a stop? I changed the plugs, cap & rotor, and wires 2 months ago and nothing has gone wrong until now. Where should I start? The jeep was warm when it did this.

Like the title says. The jeep wont fire up. It wont turn over. It does have battery power to power all lights and radio but will not turn over. Might be the starter but I dont know yet. What else should I be looking for if it is not the starter?

I have a gas leak coming from on top of the tank. What would cause a leak abouve the tank. Im thinking an old fuel line but thats just a guess. I have not dropped the tank yet to track it down.
