I have the 2T, don't have to pump massive # of times, just lift boom to near your height with your arms, then pump rest of way. The oil is pulled past check valve so you don't really need to pump it to get it all the way to full extension.

For the cost of LEDs (even cheap no names) on fleabay and amazone...why go incandescent when you can do LEDs for a little more and the difference is like night and day...No more incandescent for me.

FWIW, weeks after the fact, XJ and MJ axles do NOT have the same spring mount width, they need to be cut off and rewelded to be used cross platform.

Cast part of the carrier, "windows" to each "side" (sideways), 2 pry bars, 1 each side, carrier comes right out. You will put the pry bars on the edge of the window on each side. By window, I mean the hole the spider gears go in and out of....Never pry on any part of a gear.

Need both front axles sent to 59323 $$? I'll buy both axles, or just one outer, which is what I REALLY NEED. So I would be happy to get a 297x outer stub ASAP

Lots of effort for something that probably wont work. What about if you dont have a spare on it? Will it still close? Think about the physics on where the strut mounts on the hatch...I dont know...
