I've been running a FM 40 for two years....and I hate it. Too loud, annoying in cab. It's coming off pretty soon for something stock style, I just want quiet back in my Jeep.
Had a Tera 1" drop under mine for about a year and it was fine. Eliminated most vibrations. For some reason, I still would go through the U joint on the T case side more often. However, I decided to remove my drop kit Saturday and replace it with this. Much better!
That's what I am hoping, as I really don't want to do a head gasket. I'm pretty sure it's not coming from the front stud as some have suggested (pretty sure I would have noticed that last night.) I don't belive any of the radiator hose's are leaking right now, but I will definately check those...
It was hard to tell at night, but from what I could see from the Mag lite, it was dripping down into the freeze plug. I'm going to try and get a better look in the light, after work.
Freeze plug = much easier to repair.

So, the other night after finishing up some other work on the XJ, I was letting it run in the driveway. Low and behold, there's coolant leaking out from the front of the engine. Get out the flash light and looks like it's coming from above the freeze plug on...
