Which frame stiffeners fit with Clayton's long arm kit?

My truck is being built right now with ruff stuff stiffeners and a clayton pro series crossmember. The only modification required was to the support bracket for the upper link mount. If you are running the radius arm kit it shouldn't need any mod. Matt

    Fuel cell advice

I did try to search, it either comes up with pages and pages of every thread possible or nothing depending on the keywords. That being said, I am not the most interweb savvy person around so I might be doing it wrong. And Vanimal, I should have added in the opening post, I'm actually not sure...

    Fuel cell advice

Hey guys, looking for input on Fuel cell choices. I am Stretching my rear about 2.5 inches with offset brackets and going from an 8.25 to a 60 so I need to relocate the tank. I'm still debating doing the tank lift but wanted to look at the cell option as well. I know a lot of tj guys use the...

Awesome guys, searching different forums came up with a lot of different ideas, hence my post. Are the splines the same on the saggy arm? Appreciate the input. Matt

    Pitman arm selection

Hey guys, lookin for a little help. I am about to start a one ton swap on my 99 using a 79 ford hp 60. I am running high steer and hydro assist and am looking for an appropriate pitman arm. It will have 2 inches of stretch and 6.5 inches o lift. I have heard that a waggy arm might be suitable...

    300 bearing replacement

Hey guys, hoping someone can help me out. I've got a good deal lined up on a nicely put together 300 that I want to pick up but it needs the rear output bearings replaced. Can anyone tell me what this repair could be worth (time/parts)? Or if it might be an indication of further issues? I'd...

    86-99 axle swap

Thanks Tim, looked through there before posting, wasn't quite sure about the calipers themselves. Doesn't look like the swap is going to be doable for other reasons now, but thanks again for the info. Matt

    86-99 axle swap

I have th oppourtunity to swap a set of geared and locked axles out of an 87 into my 99. If I make the purchase, I would be taking the shafts, hubs and rotors from my 99 and transplanting them, but what I'm wondering, and haven't been able to find an answer to, is are the calipers transferable...

    Rockkrawler 3 link mount pics

Hey guys, I know there are lots of threads on here discussing this system, but most of them are discussing the ups and downs of it. What I am tryin to figure out, is if I would have to modify either the mounts or my frame stiffeners (ruffstuff) in order to run this set up. If anyone has any...

    rockkrawler triple threat

Thanks guys. One more question I forgot to ask, do the mounts wrap all the way around the unibody or just the bottom and outside? I ask because I am installing a set of Ruffstuff stiffeners at the same time and I want to make sure I can still mount the brackets. Matt

    rockkrawler triple threat

Just wondering if anyone is running the Rockkrawler triple threat 6.5" kit? Its going on a daily driven (for now) 99 four door that I use for trails and rocks, for the most part. What kind of set ups is anybody using along with these kits in terms of steering and what not. I am currently...

You know you own/drive a XJ when...

See I just tend to ignore all but other lifted XJ's unless I get a wave from a TJ driver who isn't a hater. Stock jeep drivers around here aren't educated on the wave so they just look at you like you are crazy if you wave. And furthermore... You know you drive an XJ when your friends ask...

You know you own/drive a XJ when...

You've given up on waving to TJ's and preemptively flip them off, before they can flip you off. The girl you've been seeing doesn't work out when you stop driving mom's Malibu because the XJ is fixed and her response is ewww, what is that, I thought you said you had a jeep. Great first post...
