As stated above I have an intermittent misfire when I am on the highway... it usually comes in pulses ie it will misfire for a few moments and then go away for a day or two. My xj has always run great until last week it started missing and idled rough and died a couple times... it threw codes...

I was taking the doors off my xj to strip the rust and repaint them. I had to cut the hinge pins on the lower rear doors and now I am nit sure what to do when i put them back on, has anyone used plain bolts with nylon lock nuts if so what size and where to find em? Any other input is welcome

So I have removed the doors.on my xj in order to thoroughly remove the rust and re paint them. i would like to know what the best corrosion prevention I could use on my hinges given that they are moving parts and i would rather not cut all the pins. Thanks

Looks like when I messed up my bumper i tweaked the rails some where it mounts to. Can anybody recomend someplace that could handle this cheap?
