An FYI, my '98 twin Taurus fans will not activate high speed unless both inputs are powered. That is to say that each hot lead to the fan must be energized in order for the high speed to be reached. A bench test, with jumpers, should be performed if you are in doubt then adjust your wiring...

It's been shown there are alternatives to the high lift for raising a vehicle. However, as an extraction tool I'm not sure a scissor or bottle jack would duplicate the work of a winch like a hi-lift style jack is capable. Just a thought.

But it completely undermines the spirit of the law and therefore makes it UNCONSTITUTIONAL!
