I've decided to replace the door before I sell the jeep. I need to spray the new door. Anyone know where I can find the right paint? How much is needed for a door?
Paint Code is PJP

I need some help. I'm transferring to WA state and probably won't do much wheeling there. I built this for light wheeling here in the upper Mojave and Sierras.
I have no idea what its worth now and how much to ask if I sell it - let alone where to try and sell it.

Hey folks,
I am moving back to Island County in the spring. I didn't get into offroad stuff until long after I moved away, but I plan on bringing my 2000 XJ with me. I mostly use my jeep for getting into the back country for hunting/camping so its a little overbuilt. Currently I run in...

I've got a 15-16 year old floor jack that looked like it pissed iself this AM when I walked into the garage. I'm guessing one of the seals finally gave out and it leaked its hyd fluid all over the floor.
I paid about 125 for it back in 1991 and it looks very similar to the 89.99 jobs that you...
I replaced my valve cover gasket this afternoon. Torque'd to spec and used a good gasket (felpro metal/rubber with new grommets).
However it appears to still be leaking.
Any other good ideas out there?
I posted this in OEM forum and was wondering if ya'll had any info on this:
I have a 2000 and can't figure out what is supposed to be holding the valve cover on. Right now its leaking and I need to replace the gasket.
Currently it looks like the cover is held in place with a combination of...
I have a 2000 and can't figure out what is supposed to be holding the valve cover on. Right now its leaking and I need to replace the gasket.
Currently it looks like the cover is held in place with a combination of regular bolts and/or studs with fasteners. Is it supposed to be a combination...
Just installed BigOffroad's headlight harness - the difference even with old stock sealed beams is sooo much better. I'm going to upgrade housings and bulbs closer to Christmas.
Really recommend this mod!
Running 32x11.5 BFGs and 4.56 gears in a 2000 XJ.
14.1 MPG in mostly city driving. Also had a 20-30 miles of light desert wheeling in there too.
I'm about to do a tuneup and see if it gets better. Thinking I'm just going to do spark plugs and replace the air filter and see what that gets me...
I am in San Diego/Miramar for the next few days on business. I will be leaving here on Thurs 4pm-ish back for the high desert to my home in Ridgecrest. A parts train is available as long as its within a few minutes of I215, I15, CA 395. I can probably fit something as large as a set of...
I just bought an F-150 and it came with what looks to be a 3" to 4" Fabtech Lift and 35" Tires. I wasn't looking for a lifted truck, but the price and miles were right.
Now I would like to find someone that has the OEM parts so I can return it to the OEM height and ride.
PM me if you know...
Finally got my 4.56 installed over the weekend. Cost was 727.00 out the door. I got the parts for around 500.
Jeep drives much better now...engine seems to be in a happier spot.
Now I have to go break the news that I put 727 bucks on the credit card...
Title says it all. Looking for something that I can tinker with on my own and not in immediate need of a major rebuild or repair.
Older things like:
F150
Ranger
MJ
C/K 10
Bronco
Accord/Civic
VW
Let me know what you've got...
I'm selling my 07 Mazdaspeed3 because I just don't drive it enough to justify the 800 bucks annually for insurance and the premium gas that it loves so much.
Anyway, I'm planning on using whats leftover after paying off the note to get a new to me car/truck.
After getting the XJ a few months...
Ok...so I bought a pre97 gas tank skid and read about how to mod it to fit my 2000. A hacksaw, some grinding and a little bending and it should fit over my plastic tank right?
Well...about 8 hours over two days later and its all back together. I think my major problem was that I bought a jeep...
