Keep your stock set up and then build your own. I have an aem with the carb sticker but it was still a pain to smog. I will put on my old box next smog.

I would go with some zj rear springs. That's what I am running but be prepared to have to fine tune things a bit! The solution I eventually came up with (after shock valving) was a currie anti-rock in the rear. Way too much body roll otherwise.

My advice to some of our vendors is answer your phones!!! Hire a person to do this if necessary. If two products are equal, I will always or from the company I can talk to. My guess is that I am not alone in this.

Just went through a smog inspection in Fresno and it sucked!!! I have an AEM intake with a CARB sticker, JBA header with CARB sticker. And it was a huge ordeal! The smog guy wrote down all the info and called the manufacture to verify they were smog legal. And this was friends "guy".

The moral of the story is..... Primer, then paint? Or better yet, powder coat your bumper? If it is the weld you are showing then post an overall picture of the piece as a reference point.
