I was wondering, what is the proper process to shaving a 14 Bolt Diff. I have seen pictures, but I would like to know of other peoples opinions before I dig in.. I wondered if you use a torch for the basic cut then clean it up with the grinder. What is the whole process?
I found the Clayton Off Road 8" lift for the Cherokee to be interesting, with the coil conversion for the rear. I like the idea. Has anyone had any experiance with that lift? or any detailed pics of the rear to see how it sets up would be cool.
Dana 60's in a Cherokee? Is it easier to get 60's out of a Dodge or Ford and build them up myself, or just buy the already completed ones from like Dynatrack or something????
I just picked up the march 08 Jp magazine. on pg 76 there is a pic of a Cherokee with a fender that was built to be supported after trimmed. I couldn't find the article to go with the pic. I am interested in knowing more about it, looks slick. Can anyone help me with this, a website or something.
I was wondering about the Atlas 2. It sounds like the king of t-cases. Just wondering how it bolts up? and what kind of changes need to be done. How about the shifters? Can it still look good and work good? My Cherokee is a 98 with the 4.0L and the AW-4 Auto Trans.
