I hear Ya and your brother too. That sounds just like the dealership I just quit from. Was run by the same man who started it in 1970's. Just sold 2 years ago to a large Auto Group. There's something that happens when you go from an owner who is walking around the facility all day everyday...
Cruising Craigslist I came across this interesting 82 Cherokee. Don't know if I like it or disgusted by it. Seems to be posted in the wrong state as well.

You can use the stock WJ tierod ends however the beefier links like JKS makes(for the WJ) are too long for the XJ. The WJ D30 axle is wider than an XJ D30 axle. You may have to fan up your own tie rod sleeves.
Wish I had not gotten rid of mine, seeing yours there Mitchell makes me want another one. Has to be the V8 though. However doesn't have to be the HO. In my searches the best WJ far and away is the 2004 Laredo with the optional V8 and no Auto-climate control. Will have the VariLok axles and...
I would think uni-body stiffeners should be priority #1 if you're gonna be getting up to speed and possibly jumping this thing. I'd vote for Claytons 4-link. Weld it to the stiffeners and be done.

I plan on riding quite...
Just finished up a motorcycle BRC(basic rider course) given by ABATE at the local Government center near me. If you pass then you get your Motorcycle endorsement on your license. I never had any experience with them until this weekend. Sure I've ridden a few scooters but never anything over...
Well I did get some news, didn't get the job. No reason given but judging by talking to the other guys in the interview group, they probably went with the local candidates. There were 3 guys that lived local to Denver. Oh well.
At least I tried, if I hadn't then I would've always wondered...
Nothing yet. When I know what the result is I'll let you guys know. Believe me I know its a great place to be. Is it weird that the two days I was there, it hailed and had tornado warnings each day? Hahaha
I completely agree about the being civil over screaming and yelling and causing a scene. If you're understanding that the folks at the ticket counter don't have direct control over the fact that things get shifted around and the flight is no longer available, they will be willing to work with...
Just got back home from being out in Denver. I have a whole new respect for when flights get cancelled late at night and people are left hanging until they can figure out a way home!
I haven't flown in 10 years and I think I just did enough in 13 hours to make up for it.
Flight was...
