it looks a lot like my 91 did when i crashed it in high school. then rebuilt it. it is totally possible to fix. i also could not open the door but i took the fender off until i got new parts. just dont get any plastic panels, particularly the header panel.
i used to hit potholes a lot an destroy hubs like a champ. it can be done in 45 minutes. but the first time took like 2-3 hours. not really a big deal. hub nut, then wheel, then brakes off, then three 12 point nuts hold the hub there. i rate it a 4 as well.

fuel pump relay could be bad. i had a simliar issue. replaced the pump and still the same problems. it ended up that the pump dragged the relay down with it.
ive got a 91 laredo and all i have noticed is the overhead console and the center console. laredos eventually all became grand cherokees. so i figure laredo means fancy trim but still no cup holders. maybe rear window wiper too but im not sure.
if the check engine light is on you can cycle the ignition switch on and off three times then leave it on and the light will flash to indicate codes. gojeeps site has the translation of the codes and a more thourough description of the process.
welsh plugs. they are a pain in the butt. that is their location you describe but i am not sure how to fix them without removing the exhaust manifold. cheap part though!
