I'm building a new project and need to find someone who can build a custom rear half of a frame off of a TJ front half. Not afraid to go to Denver for it, but would prefer CoS.
Called Matt at Rockware, he's booked out and not taking new projects for a while, so he's out.
Re: half an MJ
ROFL, I remember when that truck was stock and I sold it to Led for dirt because it was a beat 2wd
As soon as I saw it on CL I knew who's it was.
Brings back memories for sure.
Anyone in or near the 'Springs have a welder and would be willing to help me with a conversion project? I'm updating my MJ to a 97+ front clip and interior and need to weld the firewall and dash mounts up.
Drop me a line if you can help.
Thanks,
Joe
Was the 2.1 even available in 90? I've never heard of a diesel Jeep in the US after 87 or 88.
And it has a metric dash, that thing's got to be an import. Probably brought up because I think you're required to use diesel powered vehicles in mines per OSHA standards.

Oh, and there's a WJ down here in the...

Cheaper would be better...
Thanks,
Joe

Should I start heading that way to transport it back to the Front Range?
I have the trailer that transported it to Moab still free and could go get it and bring it back to Denver/Colorado Springs if that would be helpful.
Let me know,

Ok, here's the whole story behind the Toyota...
I bought it from a guy in Loveland who bought it from a tow yard. They did all the paperwork to get the title, but when they submitted it, it came back as salvage so the state wanted a DOR record check to find out why it was salvage.
The tow yard...
Some insurance companies will not give you a comprehensive policy on a salvage vehicle, but I've never had a problem getting liability on one.
The biggest issue with a 'branded' vehicle that I've found is that it is a royal PITA to do all of the necessary paperwork to sell it. When I bought my...
