has any one ever used a pipe bender to make a ft tube bumber, i dont have a bender but can buy a pipe bender from lowes /home depot for cheap. and maybe even use black pipe to make a bumber, way cheaper than dom tubing, comments please, thoughts ...................

i am making brackets for my rock slider to mount to my frame rail, there are 3/16 by1.75. the bracket will slide over the 1.75 tube, and welded to the frame rail. what is the next size up tube 1.75 is it 2" or is there one in the middle. it will be bolted together.or is this a dumb question...

found what looks like a factory rear tire carrier. at the junk yard does any one know if this is a good find is it strong enough to hold a 32"? it bolts to rear hatch and rear bumber.......
