It does the job and was cheaper. It seemed like the tubes on the B&M looked smaller so I got the Flex-a-lite.
The valve looking thing is your heater control valve. You can pick it up at any local parts store. It looks like it comes all as a unit including the y and the valve...
You can pull just the motor. Just make sure you support the tranny. You will need to take the bolts out of the flex plate. there is an inspection cover that you will need to take off to access them. You can turn the flex plate with a pry bar or just turn the crank bolt.
Someone said that they changed thier sizes within the last year or so. I just replaced mine that are from 2007 and there were a different size than stock. The front is 2" and the rear is 1.5. I think the stock ones are 2.5" front and around 1.75 rear.
Yeah, I'm from Waukesha but my family keeps a camper in Lacrosse. My friends are going up to the pipeline and MaCasline the same weekend I am planning on going up to Lacrosse. I am trying to find a way to talk them out of it.
