    FS: XJ Wagoneer 1988

I am selling my 1988 XJ Wagoneer. It has 125k miles on it, 4 door, automatic, 4x4 works great, and has been running fine as a commuter since Ive owned it. It's got a d35 rear and np242 transfercase. I just replaced the water pump and replaced a couple brake lines. It is brown with funny looking...

What axle do you have? I changed one of them on an 88 with a d35, and it was pretty easy. No c-clips and just a couple bolts. Changing the axle bearing was a bit more of a task...

    Rear bumper entry guard?

    Pressure treated wood TB Spacer?

treated wood probably wouldnt be the best thing to use even if you insist on wood. Its pretty nasty, pourous, and has all kinds of crap in it (although not chromium and arsenic anymore). A good hardwood would probably work better, but I dont know what that kind of heat would do to it without...

    headlight issues

well it looks like the underhood headlamp 40A fuse was blown. I looked at the connector on the switch, and the plastic was slightly melted, but it didnt look like it would be enough to cause a short. I did notice that you can still see some of the blades when it is plugged in, so maybe I just...

    headlight issues

Thanks for the replys. Yea the harness was the first thing I checked, and it looks to be in good shape. Ill check the other ideas tomorrow, and yea I guess the switch could be bad, so Ill see if I can hook it up to a multimeter as well.

    headlight issues

I was driving my 94 cherokee the other night, and the headlights started flashing on and off. It was just the headlights, Hi and lo beam, parking and dash lights worked fine. It seemed like they would overheat or something, as it took a few minutes for it to happen, and if I left them off for a...
