    I use self tapping screws to mount the foot to the "frame". I use three legs, each leg is mounted at the pinch seam and at the foot.

    Tube door latch question

    I've been fabbin' tube doors for 8 years now and hav'nt found anything aftermarket that latches w/o rattling. Go to the wrecking yard and pull one from a rear XJ door, a rear door latch will have much less wear than a front door latch.

    Nubbie Decision

    For the front I'd swap in the whole axle and just reinstall your original shafts, unit bearings and ALL brake hardware. Doing that will eliminate the need to bleed brakes. The "big gaping hole" is'nt a strength issue, I made a cover for it out of diamond plate, silicone it and your done.

    Rebuilt 231 w/wide chain, 4to1 & SYE...$600.00, that's the deal I was blessed with, a buddy found it on Pirate4x4. Tera kit is a bit noisy, no need to rest 4low after extended use over 5 mph, no real dislikes. 4low is the way to go no matter how you get it.

    Alloy USA product was IMPORTED. Yes they HAD a great warranty and customer service... HAD. When I break my Alloy stuff, I will go to Superior Axle, Made in AMERICA. Sucks for Mike, hope you found a another job bro.
